Spaghete...
Un barbat avea o aventura de cativa ani cu o italianca. Intr-o seara, femeia i-a marturisit ca e insarcinata. Nedorind sa-si distruga reputatia sau casnicia, acesta i-a propus femeii o suma mare de bani pentru a pleca in Italia sa nasca in secret. Daca era de accord sa ramana in Italia si sa creasca acolo copilul, el i-a promis ca-i va acorda sprijinul financiar pana cand copilul va implini 18 ani. Femeia a acceptat, dar s-a intrebat cum va sti el cand se va naste copilul. Pentru a mentine discretia, el i-a spus sa-I trimita o carte postal pe spatele careia sa scrie “Spaghete”. La primirea acesteia, el se va ocupa de pensia alimentara a copilului. Intr-o zi, dupa aproximativ 9 luni, cand barbatul s-a intors de la lucru, sotia l-a intampinat confuza:
Dragule, i-a spus ea, azi ai primit o carte postala extrem de ciudata.
Ah, dami-o doar, iti voi explica mai tarziu despre ce e vorba.
Sotia ascultatoare i-a inmanat cartea postala. El a citit-o, s-a facut tot alb si a lesinat.
Pe cartea postala scria:
” Spaghete, spaghete, spaghete, spaghete, spaghete. Trei cu chiftelute, doua fara.
Trimite mai mult sos!!!!!”

Encouraging More Users to Contribute
Summary:
In most online communities, 90% of users are lurkers who never contribute, 9% of users contribute a little, and 1% of users account for almost all the action.
All large-scale, multi-user communities and online social networks that rely on users to contribute content or build services share one property: most users don't participate very much. Often, they simply lurk in the background.
In contrast, a tiny minority of users usually accounts for a disproportionately large amount of the content and other system activity. This phenomenon of participation inequality was first studied in depth by Will Hill in the early '90s, when he worked down the hall from me at Bell Communications Research (see references below).
When you plot the amount of activity for each user, the result is a Zipf curve, which shows as a straight line in a log-log diagram.
User participation often more or less follows a 90-9-1 rule:
- 90% of users are lurkers (i.e., read or observe, but don't contribute).
- 9% of users contribute from time to time, but other priorities dominate their time.
- 1% of users participate a lot and account for most contributions: it can seem as if they don't have lives because they often post just minutes after whatever event they're commenting on occurs.

Dan Puric - Cine Suntem? (conferinta Oradea - versiunea video)
Asociaţia Studenţilor Creştini Ortodocşi Români (ASCOR) a organizat luni, 3 martie, o nouă conferinţă cu teme religioase. De data aceasta, subiectul întâlnirii a fost "Cine suntem?", iar cel care a încercat să răspundă acestei întrebări a fost tocmai actorul şi regizorul creştin Dan Puric.
Dan Puric a scos în evidenţă şi de această dată faptul că identitatea unui neam nu este contabilizată de documente de armonizare cu legislaţia europeană, ci este, mai mult decît un concept, un sentiment complex şi natural prin care oamenii se raportează la istorie, la timpul istoriei neamului.

Dan Puric - Sensul vietii, al mortii si al suferintei in mileniul III
Tocmai s-au încheiat (pe 2 martie 2008) la Alba Iulia lucrările simpozionului internaţional cu tema: „Sensul vieţii, al suferinţei şi al morţii, în mileniul III”.

Citându-l pe filosoful francez Michel Henry putem spune că „adevărul creştinismului nu ţine de ordinul gândirii”… Mi-aş permite să-l completez spunând că ţine de ordinul MĂRTURISIRII. Mărturisirea nu intră în habitatul intelectual şi nici măcar sufletesc al lumii de azi, greutatea comunicării cu fratele nostru chinuit – omul modern – pare insurmontabilă. Frecvenţele sufleteşti şi mentale sunt total diferite. E greu dacă ne gândim că Occidentul a cunoscut pe rând corectitudinea teologică şi astăzi pe cea politică, pe când noi am cunoscut doar INCORECTITUDINEA ISTORIEI şi mângâierea lui Dumnezeu. Căci cele două din urmă merg împreună la acest neam umilit de istorie dar înălţat de Dumnezeu.
Vom schimba deci registrul comunicării, nu din moft stilistic ci din necesităţi metodologice şi am să argumentez aceasta nu prin neputinţa mea ci prin aparenta neputinţă a unui sfânt de a vorbi. Căci sfinţii nu vorbesc – vorba este a oamenilor, ei cuvântă. Deci să-i dăm cuvântul:
„Mi-ar fi cu neputinţă să alcătuiesc stihuri până când nu simt în inimă ceea ce scriu. Cuvintele stihurilor izbucnesc din inimă ca nişte scântei dintr-o cremene, dar asta se-ntâmplă numai atunci când cremenea inimii este lovită de amnarul durerii sau al bucuriei, al mustrării pentru păcate sau al recunoştinţei faţă de milostivul Dumnezeu… Când scriu ceva mai mişcător simt o durere la inimă, ca şi cum stihurile ar fi nişte fărâmituri desprinse din însăşi inima mea zdrobită, de aceea şi cuvintele curg însoţite de lacrimi uneori… dar rucodelia mea nu se-ntreabă aici pe piaţă… Acum lumea, săraca, este tare grăbită.”
Aşa a cuvântat unul dintre cei mai noi sfinţi români şi ai întregii lumi creştine: Sfântul Ioan Iacob Românul din Hozeva. Cât de mult seamănă această durere a inimii, când stihul porneşte din suflet, cu ceea ce a răspuns M. Eminescu când a fost lăudat de Majestatea Sa, Regina Elisabeta (poeta Carmen Sylva) pentru versurile sale:
„Majestate, versurile se desprind de noi ca frunzele moarte de copaci.”
Sensul vieţii noastre este în contra sens cu sensul vieţii lor, nu ne mai întâlnim nici în viaţă, nici în moarte, nici în suferinţă.
Creştinismul era cel care ne unea, care ne făcea fraţi, acesta era unicul sens al lumii. Acest sens pe care Cristos l-a adus pe pământ a fost distrus, compromis şi mai ales dublat de omul auto-mântuitor. Nu dragostea faţă de Dumnezeu şi aproapele tău - ci contractul, doctrina, ideologia, nu mântuirea ci vindecarea paleativă. Iar vindecarea aceasta de moment se face prin idei, iar ideile au ceva pervers în vindecare precum medicamentele pentru corp. Părintele fiziologiei, Claude Bernard, observa: „…acţiunea şi efectele dezordonate ale substanţelor medicamentoase sunt asemănătoare acţiunii şi efectelor cauzelor îmbolnăvirii”. Căci pe post de panaceu universal s-a prezentat şi comunismul a garantat vindecarea în plan istoric de nedreptatea socială. Ce efect a avut acest medicament s-a văzut şi se vede, ce dezordine şi ce suferinţă a provocat în corpul biologic, ce schimbare şi răsucire a sufletului a făcut, ce mutilare a fiinţei. Şi totul pentru o Idee. Această Idee a coborât în umanitate cu trâmbiţă izbăvitoare, iar preţul ei era schimbarea de sens. De atunci umanitatea a mers invers în istorie, în viaţă, în suflet. Acest mers invers al ateismului se altoieşte din mers cu acel mers invers al lumii secularizate. O nouă idee s-a născut din resturile încă fumegânde ale altei idei. Un alt virus mai puternic decât celălalt promite mântuirea. Şi în timp ce sensul lumii era mutilat, în timp ce oamenii se minunau de promisiunile noii mântuiri, în timp ce milioane de cărţi erau date omenirii cu noua Biblie, undeva în Răsărit un preot de ţară spunea: ideile nu sunt bune că n-au mamă!
Sensul vieţii creştinului puşcăriaş era învierea, sensul vieţii „omului modern” este longevitatea prelungită până la absurd. Aceste sensuri ale creştinismului şi ale omului mileniului III nu se vor întâlni niciodată. Unii vor să se mântuiască de lume, dar creştinul îl roagă pe Dumnezeu să mântuiască lumea. Creştinii se-nchină la crucea lui Iisus, ceilalţi la crucea tâlharului din stânga. Iar această umanitate parcată pe stânga este cauza sensului pierdut de astăzi. Darwin l-a smuls pe om din braţele lui Dumnezeu şi l-a pus în braţele maimuţei. Comunismul l-a smuls din braţele maimuţei şi l-a pus în braţele Partidului, adică al unei abstracţiuni, globalizarea n-a făcut decât să-l împingă de aici în Neant. Dar despre astea eu nu pot vorbi în limba fără de inimă a lumii moderne,
